## Our history

Logiciel is an Ecuadorian company with **24 years of experience providing Information Technology solutions**, mainly for financial business processes.

**Our priority** has always been **to offer production and service companies IT solutions that transform** (streamline, evolve, automate and innovate) their processes, responding quickly to the needs of the industry and its clients and achieving high performance in their daily operations.

## How did Logiciel begin?

**Founded in September 1999**, when Engineer Víctor Aguilar, after working for several years at a banking institution, decided to propose the creation of **an organization that would be a strategic ally for the automation and transformation of financial processes.** He wanted to apply his management experience and put principles and values into practice, among them collective participation.

Engineers Néstor Silverio and Santiago Falconí joined this great ideal, and together they built **an agile, innovative and different company, with an "anti-hierarchical" structure** or flat organization, encouraging each collaborator to grow and be empowered as a self-manager, and with great pride, after 22 years, we can say that “we did it”.

## How did our name come about, and what does it mean?

**We loved our name from the very first moment we heard it.** It was during a brainstorming session, when one of our founding partners mentioned it while telling us about his experience studying abroad. We looked at each other and knew it would be the right name.

**Logiciel, a word of French origin**, is interpreted as **"Software with logic and intelligence"**.

## What has been our greatest satisfaction?

Our greatest satisfaction is **having developed software with people who are as valuable for their knowledge as for their human values**, resulting in quality products and services with a high level of acceptance in the national market, which have replaced international IT solutions.

And this great satisfaction is based on our three fundamental pillars:
